Alison Benjamin is a licensed clinical social worker who is dedicated to supporting individuals through their unique life challenges. Her top priority is making people feel safe, and she works to create a therapeutic environment where clients can feel understood and supported in their journey toward healing. 

Alison utilizes a trauma-informed, client-centered, and strengths-based perspective to ensure each person feels seen and valued as a human being. Alison specializes in children, teens, and maternal mental health, offering crucial support during the perinatal and postpartum periods. Alison Benjamin has extensive experience helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, and depression. Her focus is on supporting every client through difficult emotions and experiences while fostering resilience and strength. 

Alison utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. She is engaged in ongoing training for Attachment-Focused EMDR, and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) for couples. Alison is currently in supervision for somatic therapy (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.) These approaches offer practical tools for managing emotions, building healthy coping skills, and fostering greater self-awareness.
