Life transitions can be devastating, and the more significant the transition the more challenging the adjustment can be. If you are facing a loss due to death & dying, divorce, unemployment or chronic health issues you may be consumed with fear, anxiety, and a sense of hopelessness. Kate Newby invites you to embrace the challenges instead of resisting them. Together we will focus on developing a sense of safety by shifting from what was to what can be. You are not alone, and Kate Newby would like to be a collaborative partner in your individual process toward healing.

Kate Newby works with adults and young adults who are experiencing life transitions, trauma, anxiety and depression. While Kate Newby has specialized training in grief/loss & trauma, she actively participates in training seminars to stay current with the latest research relevant to a variety of areas of counseling and psychotherapy.

Kate Newby draws from attachment/object relations, somatic, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy approaches in counseling.

It would be an honor to work with you. Please reach out if you would like to see if Kate Newby is a good fit.

Kate Newby is currently in training for Sensorimotor Psychotherapy https://www.sensorimotorpsychotherapy.org/about.html and EFT.
