Rebecca Barcom, PCLC
We as humans experience life’s highest highs, lowest lows, and everything in between. I work with clients to make meaning out of and work through whatever life sends our way. You and I will work together to create a trusting, safe relationship to explore any emotions, thoughts, feelings, or sensations that arise. By exploring ourselves in this moment in time, we can better understand and make meaning of our world and our place in it. We will work together towards your goals and personal growth.
I have experience working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, couples, and group counseling. I utilize person-centered, emotion focused techniques to explore how you are experiencing your thoughts, feelings, and sensations in your world. I mainly work with adolescents (16+) and all adults regardless of identity, background, and orientations. Additionally, I have an interest in rural mental health, specifically agricultural mental health, and the mental health of outdoor industry professionals and recreationists. I am currently in specialty trainings for EMDR, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Sensorimotor I. I am supervised by Hillary Funk Welzenbach BBH-PCLC-LIC-63932. Wherever you are in your journey, I will walk alongside you and look forward to hearing any questions you may have about myself and the process of finding a counselor.
