“No matter what you are going through, there is a path to a happy and meaningful life. I am here to walk this path with you, side by side.”
Yona Cseh received his master’s degree and clinical training from Johns Hopkins University. Practicing trauma-informed therapy, Yona aims to heal the “roots” of psychological issues rather than only managing symptoms. He makes it a focus to connect clients to what brings meaning and joy in their life. Using a mindfulness-based approach, Yona makes sure that clients leave therapy sessions with a toolbox of strategies to cope with thoughts and feelings throughout the week.
Yona Cseh uses a variety of modalities, including Somatic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS,) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT,) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT.) Yona is engaged in ongoing training for attachment-focused EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples (EFT,) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
Depending on a client’s goals, Yona can offer a therapy that helps clients fundamentally transform their inner landscape. Yona has experience working with individuals, couples, and families, treating trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, and other mental health issues. Yona is also experienced with integrating spirituality into the therapy process.
“Everyone has their own personal roadmap to happiness and well-being – together we will map it out, and help you walk it with confidence.”
